Synopsis

Durante un caluroso mes de agosto, el grupo "Refugio Social" ha ocupado un local en el barrio multicultural de Tetuán, Madrid. Estos realizan acciones sociales dirigidos solo a españoles, blanqueando su imagen de fascistas. Eva, becaria de periodismo y vecina de ascendencia dominicana, quiere destapar las verdaderas intenciones del grupo. Tratará de obtener información infiltrándose en la banda por medio de los trucos de maquillaje de su amiga Paqui, transgénero y drag queen.

Una comedia antifascista tratada desde la cultura de barrio.

Javier Del Barrio

A degree in Stage Direction and Dramaturgy at the RESAD. He collaborated on several performances with the creator Mattis G. of the Source and your company The Nomai, working as an illuminator. In 2018 his work "The son of Bean Nighe" was the winner of XXVII Contest of theatrical texts aimed at a child audience in the town Hall of Pamplona. It has several published texts of long and small format. He was assistant director in "Signed Lejárraga", premiered at the National Drama Center. He has worked as a stage manager in the spaces of Madrid Destination for 2 years. In 2022 was in a Club Benjamin, a project of the New Theatre Crossing, directed by Joseph Sánchis Sinisterra. It has recently been formed as a stage director with Carlos Tuñón. In 2023 premiered "Memories side" written and directed by himself. She has supplemented her training as a playwright with The Young Company, Antonio Rojano, Nieves Rodríguez Rodríguez, Simon Stephens, Luis Sorolla, Rodrigo García and Eusebio Calonge.
