La bella, sensual y jovencísima Anabella se nos aparece como una prostituta de lujo, una diosa de placeres ocultos. Narra su historia a un cliente mostrándose un poco picarona, un poco ambiciosa, un poco boba, un poco devorahombres. Pero finalmente casi nada es lo que parece.
Año 9999. La Gobernanza Sideral prepara la edición de su obra magna: Historia general del planeta Tierra hasta su destrucción. Milenios de concienzudos estudios han permitido fijar todo lo acontecido, a todos los seres vivos que han habitado la Tierra, desde el primer segundo del big-bang hasta la Gran Catástrofe que terminó con la vida en el Planeta Azul.
Pero queda una laguna por cubrir. Una vergonzante excepción: El extrañísimo fenómeno de la “Pamplonada juliana” también conocida como los Sanfermines. ¿Por qué motivos se juntaban aquellos infraseres en la ciudad durante 9 días del verano? ¿Cuál era la razón de la desconcertante uniformidad de la vestimenta? ¿Por qué corrían delante de animales indómitos? ¿Qué extrañas sustancias ingerían en sus rituales? Dos reputados antropólogos veterinarios buscan explicaciones en las ruinas de la ciudad.
En esta obra todo es una continua sorpresa.
Empieza con el título. ¿Por qué un conejo hembra en vez de una coneja? A la autora le interesa la palabra «hembra» para establecer las similitudes y diferencias entre el modo de vida del animal y de la mujer. De igual manera, esta «anatomía» va más allá de la disección de las partes del cuerpo, cuestionando la función social del género femenino.Es muy interesante y de una gran teatralidad la construcción del personaje en escena, esa mujer que sueña que es un conejo hembra y viceversa; así como la crítica mordaz de la protagonista al tradicional teatro a la italiana, del que, al fin y al cabo, forma parte.
Obra con ecos de Cortazar y Pirandello. En definitiva, una crítica a la sociedad contemporánea que no sabe escapar de su rutina.
Una presa llamada Paloma escucha desde una sórdida mazmorra trece tiros de gracia y desea ser ella misma una de las mujeres asesinadas; recibe durante tres días seguidos la visita de una monja que tiene mucho más que ver con ella de lo que se imagina. Como un extraño augurio, un vencejo se cuela entre los barrotes de la cárcel mientras un desenlace totalmente inesperado nos habla de la posibilidad de la vida y de la necesidad de la memoria.
Todo lo que ocurre arriba, puede suceder abajo. Amores, desamores, soledad, encuentros fortuitos, furtivos, fugitivos..., personas que suben o bajan escaleras, recorren andenes, pierden trenes..., personas que vienen, van, nos cuentan secretos, se callan historias. Todo puede ocurrir y también puede que no pase nada. Solo un tren.
A blind parent, a widow of a fisherman with two children. One follows the profession of his father, but the other rejects the sea and loves the field. The first has a girlfriend.
