Synopsis

The work focuses on the misadventures of Rivers and Solano counties, two wretched actors, members of a ñaque (theatre company made up of only two actors) in the Spain of the SEVENTEENTH century, which, through witty dialogues, walking his poverty and his talent on the roads of Castile.

José Sanchis Sinisterra

José Sanchis Sinisterra (Valencia, 28 June 1940) is a playwright and a theatre director English. It is one of the authors most awarded and represented by the contemporary Spanish theatre and a great renovator of the Spanish scene, being also known for his teaching and teaching in the field of theatre. Linked to the study and teaching of literature, has claimed always the double nature –both literary and scenic– text dramatic. In addition to his works, in his role as researcher and popularizer, Sanchis Sinisterra has written numerous articles on theatre and participated in several symposia and congresses dedicated to dramatic art.
