Cora, una mujer de sesenta años, cuyo marido murió en un atentado terrorista, asiste a una fiesta de carnaval para intentar olvidar. Va disfrazada de buscona y con el maquillaje muy exagerado. La fiesta está en su apogeo. Cora ha bebido ya unas cuantas copas, pero mantiene la lucidez de la persona que cree guardar una gran verdad dentro, con la que mantiene un duro conflicto, y se dirige a un acompañante imaginario a quien le confiesa que no piensa renunciar al recuerdo ni abandonar su lucha.
Dos amigos planifican intercambiar por una noche a sus parejas sin que ellas se den cuenta.
A través de un minucioso y detallado plan pretenden cambiarse de habitaciones en medio de la noche para poder ocupar el lugar del otro.
Pero todo plan tiene sus puntos débiles y ellos intentarán superarlos con ideas y ocurrencias cómicamente absurdas.
La amistad y los escrúpulos puestos en juego por el más débil de los deseos.

Un hostal en el siglo XIII o XVI, por ahí... curiosos personajes los que trabajan allí y mucho más extravagantes los que habitan. Diversas nacionalidades y caracteres se concentran en el hostal en la noche en la que llegan todos. Surge el amor, aparece el odio, pero sobre todo, se descubre a un ilegal... La policía se entera de ello y se arma el lío. Un sargento entra para investigar el caso, y aparecen más todavía... Historia ambientada en un siglo medieval pero atemporal en el tema y en el desarrollo...
Una mujer, dueña de la casa, y el fontanero que viene a arreglar una avería. Ella critica la situación actual, lo mucho que están robando los bancos, los políticos... Finalmente, cuando el fontanero termina su trabajo y le presenta la factura, se indigna porque ha puesto el IVA y le pide que vuelva a hacer la factura sin IVA, faltaría más!
