Pieza breve que trata, en clave de comedia, la naturaleza de dos Españas que conviven en nuestros días. Una historia para un actor y dos actrices, que dan voz a una cofradía durante un caótico paso de Semana Santa en Chipiona, con el grito de “¡Al cielo con ella!” como referencia a la Virgen que llevan sobre sus hombros.
El capataz de una cofradía se encierra en la capilla con el trono de la virgen la víspera de la procesión para ensayar. La virgen, no muy conforme, se rebela. El capataz sufre alucinaciones. Será el incienso que «coloca».
Abadesa y Monja octogenarias. De rodillas y rezando el rosario frente al lateral izquierdo. Toda la vida orando para alcanzar el cielo. Sus rodillas sufren. Señora octogenaria de mantilla española. Católica y de derechas de toda la vida. Desearía su distinguida vida a alternar con Dios. Cardenal octogenario, que sustituiría al Papa que nunca muere, preferiría canonizarlo. Misionero octogenario era aplaudido en el púlpito. Los hombres le tiraban cigarros puros y las mujeres prendas íntimas. Puso un estanco y un comercio de lencería. Como milagro, se libró de ser misionero a la cazuela. Pobre octogenario en huelga de hambre. Sueña en majares en el paraíso. Arrodillados, avanzan. ¿Será el camino? Indicado: Al cielo, 3 km. Felices.
